Olson Hello! My name is Amy Olson, and I am the music teacher at Pilot Knob STEM Magnet School.  I am starting my eighth year of teaching and my seventh year in ISD 197.
I have my undergraduate degree in Music Education with an Instrumental emphasis from Winona State University in Winona, MN. This means that I am able to teach K-12 classroom music or instrumental music (such as band and orchestra). I also completed my Master of Arts in Music Education with a Kodaly emphasis at the University of St. Thomas Spring 2018.
I am excited to be back at Pilot Knob this year and look forward to getting to know my students' musical background this year.
I play percussion in the Dakota Valley Symphony. Besides music, I enjoy reading, exercising, cooking, and jigsaw puzzles.

Welcome to music at Pilot Knob!
